Verdi: 'Otello'
Operatic concert

He may still be young, but he is certainly no longer a rising star. Successful and unrivalled CD recordings have confirmed Daniel Harding’s position at the pinnacle of his artistry. Some names may still be more renowned but there are few greater conductors. Harding is at the peak of his art-form and despite being wide awake, resembles a sleepwalker while conducting. There is virtually no finer work for him to display his eminence than with the monumental choral opera “Otello” by Verdi – to conduct this work is like juggling 8 balls…or with 8 world-famous stars! With Heppner, Harteros & Co. we are extremely proud of this stellar cast who, with this work, will embark upon a world tour following its premiere in the Festspielhaus.
