Like her singing colleagues Anna Netrebko and Edita Gruberová, Garanca shines in the Festspielhaus and is currently considered to be the most authentic singing performer of her generation – a women who totally immerses herself in her roles, lives her musical scores, and is not content with displaying only her brilliant vocal technique. She is at home on all the great stages of the world but was first discovered here in the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden.
