Accompanying the federal president on his world tour is just one of its tasks. The Windsbach Boys Choir is resonant proof that, even in the 21st century, programs for the gifted certainly have a long tradition in Germany. These boys unashamedly belt out the songs of their musical idols with obvious enjoyment. Brahms’ German Requiem stands alongside the first love and the first hangover as a necessity of the successful adolescence of a true Windsbach boy. The work is a great classic – sung by a group of young classical musicians.
