The Kunstmuseum Gehrke-Remund is a privately owned museum located in an old factory building of unique architectural style in Baden-Baden thus establishing the first building block of an art space out of the ordinary.

It is dedicated to the works of Frida Kahlo showing, in a permament exhibition, over 111 oil pantings of the Mexican artist. The exhibition shows the most complete collection of Frida Kahlo oil paintings worldwide.
In addition to exhibiting the oil paintings, the Kunstmuseum Gehrke-Remund shows the environment of the life of Frida Kahlo: Tehuana blouses, jewelry, and the entire context in which the artist lived and produced her paintings, including the garden of her Casa Azul (Blue House) as it is in Mexico City. This 360°view of the llife and work of Frida Kahlo allows the visitors to totally immerse themselves into her artworks and better understand the artist.
