Chaisenweg was a road that connected Baden-Baden and Rotenfels in the 19th century, but has since faded into obscurity.
Beginning at Hexentanzplatz/Römisches Haus in Bad Rotenfels, you can hike the approximately nine-kilometre trail to Baden-Baden, walking in the footsteps of the rich and beautiful of the 19th century.
Signs are posted at the various crossroads and show the way over the mountain to Baden-Baden and back. In this way, Chaisenweg brings the areas just a little closer together. Two large signs are posted at Zimmerplatz and Bernhardus Fountain (St Bernard’s Church) at the Baden-Baden border, where the trail ends.
