Can you imagine a town having all its art and cultural treasures along one long thoroughfare? In Baden-Baden, it's not a question of imagination; its reality! So come and discover all the fascinating milestones that line the Baden-Baden Cultural Mile.
Starting on the western edge of the town with the Festspielhaus , the Cultural Mile extends eastwards, past the classically styled Trinkhalle and Kurhaus, to the neo-Baroque Theater and the Museum of 19th Century Art and Technology (LA8). It then continues its journey through the picturesque town gardens, parallel to the famous avenue, the Lichtentaler Allee, towards the Staatliche Kunsthalle (State Art Gallery), the Frieder Burda Museum, and the adjacent Stadtmuseum (Baden-Baden Museum). The Cultural Mile reaches its conclusion in the eastern outskirts of the town with the 700 year old Kloster Lichtenthal (Lichtental Abbey) and the Brahms’ House.
