Hiking in Rebland

Yburg Castle Route
This hike starts at the church in Neuweier. From there, the route follows Altenbergstrasse to Fatima Chapel and then through beautiful, diverse deciduous forests up to the Yburg Castle ruins. The tower offers an impressive view of the Rhine Valley and Black Forest, whilst the castle restaurant invites you to sit back and relax. Moving upwards with an amazing view of vineyards, you will cross the Rebland fitness trail and Ortenau wine trail, before reaching the starting point at the church again. You can stop for a rest at one of the restaurants and wine taverns in Neuweier after your hike.
