Medieval Winedays Steinbach

Every year in early June, Baden-Baden's district Steinbach is the Mecca of wine and will attract a great number of people from the whole region.

Local associations, retailers, gastronomes and last but not least the winegrowers will offer a medieval and all-round programme which includes music, theater, literature and art.

Philharmonic Castle Concerts

There’s unbelievably melodic live music year round in the vaulted Villa Acustica hall of Winzergenossenschaft in Neuweier. Well-known titles in international pop and soul music are presented with lots of charm and a touch of jazz. Open-air theatre in the centre of the beautiful park landscape – the open-air stage in Neuweier, Rebland, is a wonderful secret tip for curious theatre enthusiasts, romantics and connoisseurs. Who could say no to a performance of Simplicissimus or something equally sophisticated on a warm summer night?

So much cultural enjoyment needs to be balanced out with a physical challenge – and the beautifully situated Rebland has an answer for this too: the wine hike organised by Heimatverein Neuweierer Rebläuse. The active programme includes approximately 8 kilometres, with information about the vineyard sites along the way and the opportunity to taste wines at a variety of stands.
